Nevada Missouri Shopping Days

Last April nearly 300 shoppers turned out to shop, dine, or be entertained at thirty area businesses in Nevada. A large seventy two percent of the patrons were from out of town, some even as far away as the state of Texas.

This weekend locals and friends from the surrounding area are asked to show their support to the community by stopping in at one of the area business that you have never been in before, and of course try and buy something local!

About 8,600 people live inside the Nevada City limits. There are somewhere in the area of 3,000 families, and then a bunch of single people, and old people too.
